Hi! I’m Megan MF Kelleher
YOGA • FITNESS • RETREATS • ADVENTURE • COMMUNITYThe movement-loving human behind Sea of Indigo.
For over 30 years, movement has been my constant. From skateboarding the streets of Northern California to climbing, surfing the Great Lakes, competing in HYROX, and finding my way onto a yoga mat, I've never believed there's only one way to move.
My yoga journey began in 1999 at Moksha Yoga Chicago. Since then, I've studied with incredible teachers, earned my 200-hour yoga teaching certification, and continued exploring the connection between strength, movement, breath, and the mind.
But here's what I've learned along the way:
Movement isn't just about what your body can do. It's about how it makes you feel.
It's confidence. It's resilience. It's freedom. It's community. It's finding your way back to yourself.
Today, I teach yoga and group fitness, coach skateboarding and climbing, lead sound baths, and create retreats and workshops that bring people together through movement and shared experiences.
My approach blends traditional yoga philosophy with strength, curiosity, adventure, and a healthy dose of not taking ourselves too seriously.
I believe in challenging yourself, trying new things, getting outside, building community, and finding joy in the process.
You don't have to be flexible. You don't have to be an athlete. You just have to be willing to move.
MOVE WITH PURPOSE. LIVE WITH CURIOSITY.
Whether you're stepping onto a yoga mat for the first time, building strength, or looking for your next adventure, there's room for you here.
Come move with me.

THE EXPERIENCE BEHIND THE MOVEMENT.
MEET MEGAN MF KELLEHER
Yogi. Athlete. Coach. Adventurer. Lifelong Student.
Movement is more than fitness. It's a way of life.
I'm Megan, the mover behind Sea of Indigo. For over 30 years, I've explored movement through yoga, skateboarding, rock climbing, endurance athletics, and surfing the Great Lakes. I believe movement is therapy, a powerful way to build strength, find balance, cultivate resilience, and connect with ourselves and our communities.
My yoga journey began in 1999 at Moksha Yoga Chicago. I earned my 200-hour Yoga Alliance teacher training certification in 2005 and continued advanced studies toward my 500-hour training, assisting in two 200-hour yoga teacher trainings and one 500-hour training.
I've had the privilege of studying with renowned teachers including Duncan Wong, Seane Corn, Tias and Surya Little, Kino MacGregor, Jim Bennitt, and Daren Friesen, exploring the Ashtanga yoga lineage of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and a variety of movement traditions.
Beyond the mat, I'm CPR certified, a rock climbing and skateboarding coach, and certified in Life Time SOL Yoga, Warrior Sculpt Group Fitness, and Life Time Nutrition. I'm also a HYROX competitor, keynote speaker, sound bath facilitator, and retreat and workshop leader.
Rooted in Northern California and now inspired by life along the Great Lakes, I bring a spirit of adventure, curiosity, and community into everything I teach.
My philosophy is simple: Move with purpose. Stay curious. Find joy in the journey.
Whether we're flowing on the mat, building strength, exploring the outdoors, or coming together for a retreat, my goal is to create experiences that empower people to move, grow, and connect.
Come move with me.
MOVE TOGETHER. CREATE SOMETHING MEANINGFUL.
